Nice atmosphere great service but my tri tip steak was
Nice atmosphere great service but my tri tip steak was tough. I would go again & try a different entree.
Delicious food, excellent service, and a beautiful venue.
Fantastic for a classier night out or and upscale brunch.
I had other plans for dinner in Greensboro, but those
I had other plans for dinner in Greensboro, but those didn't work out. Disappointed as I was, I then realized the circumstances gave me cause to visit Print Works Bistro for dinner. Finally I'd get to see if other meals are as good as brunch. I've related the comfortable nature of this venue before. I can't think of another place in the region where I'd feel equally welcome in either formal wear or an untucked button-up and shorts. This come-as-you-are comfort still exists after sundown, I am pleased to report. I was shocked, however, to find that seating was available immediately. Maybe weekend brunch is their busiest period! The professionalism of the staff also remains a consistently strong aspect of a PWB visit. I feel appreciated as a customer, never rushed, and always served with a smile and a genuine interest in my content. And the food is still delicious. Tuna tartare made for a lively, fresh-tasting way to begin my meal. My lamb chops were cooked just as I requested, and the accompanying potatoes au gratin were a particular highlight. You need not wait for brunch to get a good meal at Print Works, it seems. The quality of the experience extends throughout the day. Five stars yet again.
Started with bread, butter and amazing roasted garlic
Started with bread, butter and amazing roasted garlic cloves. Not wowed by the meatloaf. However the side of potato was scrumptious. The goat cheese ravioli was a good dish too. The ambiance and setting was worth it! It's an intimate experience and great for a small party to engage in conversation.
Service and atmosphere
The atmosphere was nice and lots of staff so the service was good. The food was just average and not worth the price. You are paying for service and atmosphere
Beautiful restaurant.
Great brunch with upscale menu and good service. The drinks are good especially the Kit Royale. I had eggs Benedict and it was good, not extraordinary but good. The profiteroles were good for dessert. The shells tasted a little stale but the ice cream filling and chocolate sauce was terrific. The staff is attentive without hovering. For a long, leisurely, slightly tipsy brunch, the restaurant tics all the boxes. Will go back again
It depends on the season, the drinks and the service.
I've always had good service. The truffle fries are great. The Brussels with leeks are great. The brunch was good but my dinner was trash. They have amazing French Toast as well. The drinks are hit or miss. Fancy dining area that's great for parties as well.
Phenomenal food in a pleasant, airy dining space
Near perfect brunch on my wife's birthday. Got reservations the morning of, arrived early and were seated promptly. Strong service staff, everyone from host to server was pleasant and professional Atmosphere is striking, sort of elegant southern in a unique converted outdoor space. Felt open and welcoming. Brussel sprouts appetizer was probably the best take on this newly popular dish I've had. Crispy notes from bacon and caramelized onions, crunchy and airy Brussels, complemented by a touch of sweet sauce. Get this. Shrimp and grits were also an inspired take on a popular dish. Each element was excellent, and the entire dish was well balanced, with just the right amount of char highlighting juicy shrimp contrasting with a touch of rich sauce balanced by airy grits. Deserving of its accolades.
5 star evening with my crew @printworksbistro_gso just
5 star evening with my crew @printworksbistro_gso just phenomenal service and the food was amazing. A perfect night! We tried the fondue to start and also had that wonderful bread with ample soft butter and whole roasted garlic bulbs. Tonight we ordered the Mahi special served with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach, 2 orders of steak frites, the lemon chicken paillard, and the goat cheese ravioli dauphiné. We shared an order of truffle fries, a family favorite. Dessert was a shared slice of opera cake All of it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sauces were done superbly. We all agreed. What a lovely night.
First time in the state and area.
I must say this place was nothing short of exceptional. The service, the ambiance, the food, the everything!!! I would 10/10 recommend. Didn't know what to expect eating here, but I left pleased. Drinks were good also. "Fine dining" so prices are as expected. Would highly recommend!
last minute reservation
We were told by the staff at Green Valley that this was their sister restaurant. It is totally different but in a good way. It seems more polished and i would love to come back in warmer weather for the patio. The staff and food were amazing. The staff seemed more trained that the staff at Green Valley and their suggestions were spot on. I live on the coast but I tried the seafood risotto with leeks and fennel and it was amazing. My husband had the meatloat and was totally surprised at the flavors and offerings
Delicious.
We had the goat cheese ravioli and the salmon and were extremely happy. There was an extensive drink list including lots of local beers. The atmosphere was pleasant and romantic and was a perfect dinner before heading into downtown Greensboro for a show.
Everything, including the food, was beautiful.
It feels like walking through Spring, so bright and airy... everything I have ever wanted in a place to brunch.
Food was not good at all.
Service left a lot to be desired. I am a true repeat customer, they lost one today.
Print Works is one of my absolute favorite places to go in
Print Works is one of my absolute favorite places to go in Greensboro. I love love love the ambiance. The decor is clean and chic. I love going here when I want to feel a little fancy. The weekend brunch is on of my favorites! Warm cinnamon rolls, delicious scrambled eggs, literally the best I've ever had, seasoned crispy potatoes, and let's not forget the mimosa. It's heaven on earth. If brunch isn't your thing no worries. Dinner is also a treat and the beignets for dessert are a must! Looking for a little sexy cozy night cap? Pull up a spot at the bar and enjoy a glass of wine before calling it a night. Basically, you can't go wrong anytime of the day here. So wait no longer!! I'll see you there!

Our New Home for Brunch
An absolutely cool vibe to this place. A combination of industrial warehouse, garden patio and fine dining and the menu has a great assortment of dishes. Loved it for brunch. I'm afraid if we try it for dinner, we might never leave the place. Great staff, good pricing and parking is easy.
Great place
Loved the food here. The risotto was the bomb. Kind of upscale but great vibe. It was a little pricey however. Glad I didn't have to pay for it.
Checks all of the boxes
There's a lot of competition out there with even bars providing restaurant level food. But very few, if any, check all of the boxes. Print Works has an imaginative menu, all presented and cooked beautifully. The service was quick and professional, the wine list - extensive but even a sub $10 glass of pinot grigio was fine. Best of all (to make it a perfect night out for us), the decor and atmosphere have been chosen so well. Cheerfully busy but NOT NOISY. So many restaurants overlook acoustics, a most important of features. Yes, my hearing is down some, but then so are many other folks over 50. A great experience all round!
Best Meal I’ve Had in A Long Time.
I don’t usually eat here when visiting GSO but this was a birthday celebration, and it was as AMAZING!! Service was superb, food was majestic, and one thing a lot of restaurants forget is that the acoustics were wonderful. The restaurant was full but we could hear music and each other. I will be at here from now on.
Outstanding food, service, and ambiance.
I haven't found a dish I don't like. The truffle fries are to die for and the salmon quinoa dish is also incredibly delicious. Their brunch typically has unique versions of egg benedict in addition to the original. Yummy!!
Good for dine-in or pickup
We got pick-up here through the pandemic and have eaten brunch in the space more recently. The decor feels a little stuffy and antiquated, but it's sort of whimsical in design. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and we've been with both vegans and gluten-free people. Cons: Parking and price can be an issue. The lot is often full and many of the people are from out of town so they tend to be a bit more careless with parking. The price is also considerable for the average Greensboro price range, but it's well worth it. Perfect for business or date night, they also do one of the best Sunday Brunches in town.
Allergies
Do not eat here if you have any allergies. I told the waiter about my allergy from the beginning. When I got the dessert it had what I’m allergic to and I had to immediately leave. It was not included on the menu for the item that I ordered.
