Forgot to make a review, but what I could remember.
. everything was amazing! Paris has soo many Michelin restaurants, but I wanted something romantic to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival, you get the star treatment. They even have a seat for your bag. There were so many dishes. The pigeon was amazing! If you love desserts, be prepared for many dessert dishes. I'd recommend for anyone visiting.
Be the first to ReplyService, atmosphere and food are really impressive.
It is once in a life time thing due to the price.
Be the first to ReplyCrazy good.
Amazing service. Went beyond our expectations. Beautiful surroundings...fresh flowers, dim lighting,...even a rose petal heart in the middle of the table for our anniversary. Very elegant. Dress code was upheld. I had the spaghetti entree and onion appetizer. Both were so complex and delicious. My husband had the scallops app and the beef entree. Everything was well done. The courses just kept on coming...so many extras. Everything was delicious.
Be the first to ReplyThree star Michelin restaurant.
We took the tasting menu with wine pairing. The restaurant looks beautiful, the service is impeccable, and food was spectacular. The only issue we had was that the food-wine pairing was fine, but not great. Incredible experience.
Be the first to ReplyThe best Michelin star restaurant I have been to.
We booked well in advance and were surprised to learn that three of the restaurants at the Four Seasons hold Michelin stars -- le Cinq has 3 and they are well deserved. Our table was comfortable and we selected a few dishes from the menu. The service was of course extremely attentive and the sommelier was very knowledgeable about the wine list. My only complaint was that the gluten free bread was disgusting -- hard and stale and not acceptable to serve with the prices we paid. This will be on our list every time we come back to Paris!
Be the first to ReplyFantastic experience.
The level of service is astonishing. They provided a cushioned ottoman for my wife's bag to sit on! The dining room is beautiful. We had the tasting menu. The food is amazing as expected. But what I love is the entire experience. The servers are wonderful, there are dozens of lovely things that occur throughout the meal that just makes your night. I won't list it all because then it ruins it. If you are into Michelin star restaurants this one should be on your list. SOME photos to follow Thanks!
Be the first to ReplyPerfection in every way.
The menu, decor, service and attention to detail made this meal perhaps the best I've had. Family of 4 for dinner, including 2 younger kids (that are able to patiently sit through a formal dinner). Very classic formal French restaurant (jackets required, even for boys), but the service was attentive without ever feeling stuffy. The price of admission is high, but if you are a foodie and want to experience one of the best dining options in Paris (IMO), I'd highly recommend Le Cinq.
Be the first to ReplyOf all the Michelin restaurants we dined around the world,
Of all the Michelin restaurants we dined around the world, I will be honest and say the service at Le Cinq was by far, the best. The hospitality we were given was above and beyond. The ambiance was perfect, it was incredibly romantic. What the staff did for us and treated us was just a magical experience. As for the food, everything was incredibly delicious. The spaghetti was one of the most creative and tasty things we had. Just when you thought the meal stopped, there were more little bites to have. Just an amazing experience all around.
Be the first to ReplyFirst, be prepared to eat.
Second, be prepared for 2-4 hours of fine dining. We tried most things on the menu. Everything was 5 out of 5 stars with every attention to detail. While I didn't love everything, most everything I didn't like my wife loved. Something for everyone. The deserts were delicious. We tried every one of them. After deserts came more deserts (save a little room) as I did not and had to take it home. Made for a good late night snack. Highly recommended. We are light and spent $700 overall so it's def a $$$$ on the scale. Worth it.
Be the first to ReplyNow we are back in this amazing hotel and having dinner on
Now we are back in this amazing hotel and having dinner on our first night. We have great memories 6 years ago-see previous reviews- so we were very excited to try dinner. During pandemic, they stop serving lunch. We decided to do a la cart since my BF has some food restrictions may needs a lot of replacement. I had prawn for appetizer and sea bass for main which were just amazing. Prawns were soft but a right amount of texture, I put hollandaise sauce a side since I don't like the sauce in general but this one was mild and not too creamy so it worked well with prawn. Sea bass was porched with this cream sauce which was perfect with good amount of caviar. My BF ordered smoked salmon as an appetizer and he ordered lamb for the main both which he enjoyed. I was full but we both ordered dessert and my honeycomb ice cream made from buttermilk sauce was ok. BF got chocolate dish and later brought amazing chocolate cart and I think you can do nice dinner without desserts. Our waiter was very sweet and give guest Polaroid pic at the end with a rose! Highly recommend for the special occasion.

One of our favorite places for dinner @lecinqparis where the food is amazing and the wine list is insane. One of the best #amusebouche is this cheese waffle and pairs perfectly with #champagne . The lobster dish came in a big cabbage and was definitely redefined what a #lobster course is. Of course, we had the Raveneau. It's so hard to find in the US and it's such a deal to drink it here. The food is innovative and the staff is amazing. Thank you for making our trip and night so special. #raveneau #grandcru @lecinqparis #parisfood #pariseats #parisrestaurant #michelinstar #3michelinstars #foodie #foodstagram #foodiesofinstagram #willtravelforfood #livingmybestlife #carpediem
Be the first to ReplyGerard took me out for a gorgeous romantic evening.
I got off the bus after work and he swept me away to Paris for dinner, and it was magical. We ate escargot and iceberg lettuce. He is such a gentleman, he put the shells up his nose and was acting like an absolute lunatic! He's so charming, he almost snot rocketed them across the room! Alas though, all his energy reminded me of my past love: Marlon Brando. I become quite distraught over his memory, but I did my best to hide it from Gerard. He knows that Marlon holds a deep place in my aura, but I feel guilty when I think of him around Gerard, especially since Gerard has so much money. He's such a sweet man I don't want to hurt him, but Marlon was and always will be my one true soul collector. I will miss him forever. I certainly wish that I was kissing him under the Eiffel Tower that night, but sadly you can't turn back time. I will feel better in the morning knowing Gerard is still by my side, and he will take me home in his white Mercedes and give me expensive champagne. I have known many loves in my life, but Gerard certainly is #2. The risotto was a little overcooked, but the taste was good.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Michelin restaurant perfect for more upscale
Fantastic Michelin restaurant perfect for more upscale business lunches. Flawless service. Pleasantly perplexing menu offerings that are a blend of traditional French cuisine with contemporary applications.
Be the first to ReplyBest service of the entire trip.
They were very excited to share what they had been doing and were helpful with recommendations. Mostly a younger staff. They steered us away from doing a tasting with wine pairing saying it would be too much food and drink. Apparently it is seven full pours and I couldn't really handle the three glasses we ended up doing. The ambiance was also stunning and comfortable without being too over the top. However, we did call for a reservation and were told they had none and that we needed to call a month in advance. The next day multiple two person reservations came open online. My husband had watched this happen each day so he was pretty sure he would be able to snag a table. Even though we ate early at 7:45, the restaurant was only ever half full. Others might not be so persistent so it is worth checking. Unfortunately, while beautiful and innovative, the food was not as delicious as we had hoped. The bread service, amuse, dessert and cheese were all fabulous. I did not care for the venison with the grilled avocado and the truffle with cheese was sliced so thick it was tough to chew. Do get the spaghetti which sounds like an odd thing and we were going to pass it up but it is one of their specialties and quite surprising. While I wouldn't return (more of a once and done experience for me), I wouldn't deter you. My husband had really high expectations though and for us the food is always the first concern. We will eat in terrible places with poor service for really excellent food and this food was stunning to look at but only half of it tasted as good as it looked.
Be the first to ReplyThere's not much to say.
Everything was superlative and Le Cinq is well deserving of the the 3 Michelin stars in which they've earned and held onto for the past 20 years. We had the pleasure of enjoying the 11 course tasting menu with wine pairing. This meal will take you 2.5 hours and the cost ends up being $850 per person. Fortunately Le Cinq has already thought of everything and the seats are ultra comfy and support the extra long sitting time without discomfort. Also the cadence of the courses comes out in perfect timing so that you are not sitting around too long or feeling too rushed.Truly everything was exceptional from taste and the progression of the dishes, temperature, dining room, ambience and of course service. The only thing that was somewhat off putting was when I called the restaurant to inquire about the dress code and the lady on the phone was somewhat curt.Anyways about the dress code dinner jacket is required, but dress jeans are fine as well as designer sneakers. I hope that if you get the chance you can enjoy this exceptional experience as well.
Be the first to ReplyThere is nothing like a meal here.
It was the best dining experience I've ever had. We love Per Se in New York. This was even better than that. We have eaten at other Michelin 3 stars including Epicure on this same recent trip. I didn't expect to be wowed. But I was. Literally blown away by the high level of service that leaves no detail neglected combined with the insanely good food, and an atmosphere that puts you at ease the moment you walk in. Is it pricy? Sure. But it's Paris and it's worth it. I will make it a point to return next time I'm there even with so many places I need to try. It's truly a memorable experience for anyone. Go.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing! 100 stars! The decor was elegant and tasteful.
Full of color and vibrancy yet understated. The staff was so much fun- great personalities with warm and welcoming stories! Loved how beautiful they were dressed. Service was thoughtful, quick, attentive Champagne selection was very good. We had two glasses of rose that was smooth and flavoured. The drink selection included very nice cocktails and sodas. Oh and the tea - very flavourful! The food....OH MY! DELICIOUS! The flavours just pop.
Be the first to ReplyThe favorite part of our Europe trip was our dining
The favorite part of our Europe trip was our dining experience here. Best meal, hands down.We walk into the stunning Four Seasons George V into this tastefully decorated place. We were greeted warmly and seated with a view of the breathtakingly-beautiful floral gardens area. The servers pulled out our chairs and gave us a small table for my handbag. Every detail was well thought out. Different shaped plates and utensils to make everything looks more esthetically appealing and appetizing. We chose to dine off the tasting menu. I'm vegetarian, and was told the chef would whip up a menu for me on the day of. I was a bit skeptical as to what could possibly be done to wow me with vegetables? To my delight, he worked some magic that made every bite so memorable I'm still thinking about it many months later. The presentation of each dish was beautiful. The servers opened each dish on the count of three with an arm behind their back. It was formal and pleasant. The courses kept coming, multiple desserts to try. We were here for a bit over 3 hours, feeling full to the brim and very happy that we chose to came here. As an added touch the waiter gave my date a rose to present me with. He took a photo for us and printed it as a gift to take home along with a goody bag of chocolates and baked treats for the next day! You leave this place wanting to hug everyone that made your experience so great, shed a happy tear over your chef's culinary art, and planning to come back as soon as you possibly can!
Be the first to ReplyHands down one of the best gastronomical experiences in
Hands down one of the best gastronomical experiences in Paris (no easy feat), and one the most well-rounded, comforting degustation menus I've personally experienced. From the delightful amuse-bouche courses to the decadent desserts, every dish was surprising, nuanced and delectable. I would easily rate it among my top five Michelin-rated restaurants in the city. Absolutely worth visiting.
Be the first to ReplyUnbelievable meal, such great service and wine as well but
Unbelievable meal, such great service and wine as well but the most balanced and light dishes with deep imagination and great flavors. Started off real quick and then eased into a slower progression. Perfect pairings, had some Madeira with the gratin that was a delight and so many little spectacular moments.First thing with champagne was parmesan waffle. So light and airy with good smoky nuttiness. Delicious but less impressive than most of the rest. Began with lobster Amuse with breading (maybe best thing all night), scallop mouselline tart (exceptional but little too bay scallop a flavor, not salty enough for me) and cheese and artichoke bite (too much truffle but still great).Baguette was kinda meh but amazing mustache curls. Buckwheat was amazing, almost homey in warm interior texture but amazing crust formed great shell that went amazing with the Salted beurre. Highlight was the flaxseed cracker/ Biscuit/croissant hybrid. So well laminated. Great textural contrast, good salt level, everything on point. So nutty it tasted like the best movie theater popcorn you've ever had when buttered. So juicy and firm, was one of the best breads I've ever had. Lemon yogurt and radish Amuse was good, nothing super memorable but creme fraiche esque sauce worked well in it. Good herbal notes too.First full course was the meaty prawn (not as sweet as Santa barbaras) with the warm mayo and buckwheat pancake. Pancake was almost Parmesan nutty and very good bend. Sauce was good but a smidge heavy (only sauce all night that was). Not too creamy but maybe too much egg yolk by 4%.Asparagus with buttermilk and seabass had it all. Great tang from the sauce, great acid, herbal bitter notes from the fresh asparagus and meaty raw ish chunks of sea bass marinating below. Possibly my favorite dish, was a really fun and textured plate too.Gratinated onions were ok but my least favorite of the dishes. Very impressive how many preparations of onion they had but not the most exciting flavor pops/ could have used 9% more salt. Very impressive wrapping job and delicious French onion overtones throufht the plate. Truffle, ham and mushroom gratin was the other contender for best dish of the night. Wow, so light and creamy but also firm bite to the ham and pasta. No idea how long it takes to layer each gratin but was worth it! Intense white truffle flavor from the broth and combined with the morels into a beautiful umami essence. Can see what it's what put the chef partially on the map, crazy inventive and so technically proficient to incorporate all that harmoniously. No fighting between any flavors at all.Smoked eel with Rogbrod and potato (with subdued horseradish sauce) looked like the most cute little meat and potatoes dish. Eel was smoked in a herring/whitefish manner, felt like I was eating an open faced fish sandwich at a danish-Jewish deli in heaven. I'm not a fan of horseradish but this sauce almost converted me too.Dairy ice was quite impressive with yeast ice cream and meringue combining into a cooling and deliciously milky granita. Came at the same time as 3 little bites. Strawberry was great, vanilla creme was tasty too but the hazelnut was the best of the trois.Grapefruit dish was next. Rind on the candied part on the bottom was delicious but too chewy for me. Not ma femme though. Top sliver had dill and campari for herbal and Citrus notes that balanced the tart grapefruit. Middle section was fresh and perfect, excellent sauce bled out onto the plate from that and the sorbet layer.Chocolate and peanut butter was great. Nice and cooling chocolate and pb with wispy wafers of pb surrounding. Nice crumble and whipped cream gave the other necessary elements to tie it together. Final dish was the kougin Amann. Amazing but the only dish we couldn't finish as we were bursting. And then the dessert cart came by. Everything was great but the toffee nougat and Absinthe marshmallow were the standouts. Need some more anise sugar in my life now. 10/10, deserves all 3 Michelin stars. Some amazing service that needs to be noted as well.

We sat down at our table and within seconds were offered champagne. Since this dinner was for on honeymoon, we thought why not? We both taste a rose while different amuse-bouche arrive to delight our palettes. The bread was incredible. We choose a bottle of wine along with the chef's tasting menu. What followed was amazing: several courses inspired from traditional French dishes, but completely reinvented. We especially enjoyed the prawns, sea bass, eel, and deconstructed onion soup. Dessert followed with the most amazing grapefruit dish and then of course chocolate. Service was impeccable. The waiters patiently and enthusiastically answered our questions as we dined on the tasting menu. As we departed, they delivered a flower I had ordered for my wife and the bill. For around 1000 euro we both enjoyed champagne, the tasting menu and a bottle of exquisite wine. Le Cinq is highly recommended for anyone visiting Paris looking for a romantic evening. If you've made it this far into the review I'll share something special with you. What sets La Cinq apart from other restaurants is that not only are you taking a journey through the life and childhood of the chef, but there are moments where the elevated cuisine touches you in unexpected ways. Both my wife and myself found ourselves remembering tastes from our childhood when sampling various courses and we didn't even grow up in France. We were instantly teleported to memories that were comforting through the cuisine and that is how they say, priceless.

Had an amazing dinner here last week during a work trip to Paris. The food was great, however our experience with the waiters and Som were great. They made the experience great and we're really fun. I also liked the attention to detail, particularly when we asked to stagger a course while we took a break and when we asked if we could start the meal after we finished our bottle of champagne. Overall great dinner and we will be back again.
Be the first to ReplyHoly crap.
This place is a must do on your European fine dining bucket list. Located at the far left end of the (finally reopened post-pandemic in late September) Hotel George V lobby In Paris, Be prepared for a lingering, indulgent and unforgettable evening. Warning - this place can easily set you back as much as €400 pp or more - depending on your wine choices of course. And for perspective, they have a 1983 chateau d'yquem for €3,500 for a half bottle on offer. Perfect for a Russian Oligarch out on a date with an Instagram model. Having said that - it's other worldly. Bite the proverbial bullet and order the Prix Fixe menu. We dined in early November '21 and it was lovely. You'll need proper EU COVID vaccination proof (QR codes only in France - easiest through the AntiCovid app) to even enter the hotel. We were seated right away and immediately offered water and within minutes our fist amuse bouche was delivered. It would take me many paragraphs to describe the courses, but suffice to say that each one was better than the previous. I mean they brought out THREE dessert courses The sommelier was friendly and made several value recommendations that were reasonably priced even though I did not specify a price range. I ended up ordering a Paulliac Grad Cru for under €130 that was truly magnificent. The room is beautiful, the staff is attentive but sensitive to privacy and the ambience is very international as you would expect. Allot 3 hours for dinner. You'll enjoy every minute of it. As an extremely gracious touch, the Executive Chef - CHRISTIAN LE SQUER - who is amazballs came out at the end of the evening and individually greeted each table and thanked us for coming. Sooooo special.
Be the first to ReplyMy first and most amazing Michelin star restaurant
My first and most amazing Michelin star restaurant experience. We booked the chef's tasting menu on our trip to Paris. It was romantic, beautiful and nothing short of stellar. We were treated like a king and queen, and I can still imagine the food and start salivating! Have some very fond memories attached to this place.
