Huber´s im Fischerwirt Salzburg Reviews
Fine dining at its best!
Hubers at the Fischerwirt were rightly awarded 3 toques by Gault Millau. The food is definitely cooked with love and dedication and served with charm and attention. The menu actually offers everything a gourmet's heart could desire: wonderfully aromatic truffle dishes, a fantastic lobster soup, delicious fish dishes, but also crispy fried chicken or - now a rarity - finely seasoned veal cream beuschel. In between, you can indulge in a culinary treat from the kitchen. The dessert selection then puts the crown on the whole with incredibly fruity sorbets, curd dumplings with plums ... and much more. All dishes are perfectly "composed" and a real feast for the palate, in other words "fine dining at its best!"
A culinary delight
This is one of the best restaurants we have in Salzburg. The staff is very competent. I can only recommend everyone to visit this restaurant. You can eat everything on the menu. We will definitely come back.
Beautiful garden and rooms, good service and almost strict menu
Huber's in the Fischerwirt is rather hidden in Liefering. A nice, quiet terrace is beautifully set. The food is excellent, especially the 7-course menu, worthy of a Michelin star and partly served by the boss herself; you could eat the menu from top to bottom. The wine selection is large, even in the high-price segment, and the service is impeccable. In my opinion, this restaurant is one of the best in Salzburg!
Fine dining a retro experience
The place is hidden between the Lehen neighbourhood and the Europark station, a small sweet location that has elements of baroquè and tradition that screams here we are Austria at every possible look, the personell is all in traditional clothes and the menú is handwritten on elegant ricepaper. The food is fine dining, refined, modern, the pasta with truffle was a little disappointing for the pasta itself but the sauce was really nicely cooked, great entré and amushbush with their homemade bread. Antipasti were very interesting. Not so inviting the desert cart that is made of very classic austrian proposals, maybe the sorbet are interesting but we didnt go for it. 80 euro p.p. with a glass of wine, entrè, welcome amushbush and main dish. In line whit what we expected. Is quote in the Michelin guide so it worth a visit for sure.
One of the best restaurants in Salzburg
It was our first time at the Fischerwirt and we had a delicious lunch. You could eat the whole menu. 100 points for the dishes we got. The two ladies serving were also a highlight. So professional and friendly. Not to be taken for granted these days. Everything was perfect. The price/performance ratio was completely justified. We would love to come back.
It's not worth it
We ordered schnitzel with potatoes, it was OK but not great, there were only 2-3 potatoes in the plate, schnitzel was quite oily and tasted like old oil, for the price you would expect better quality. The staff was very friendly though
