For serious foodie
It’s a secret of gourmets locally, a very delicious Chinese restaurant, all focus is on the food and others are secondary. Better to order in advanced and reservation is mandatory.

Very popular small Chinese restaurant which is almost impossible to book. Not cheap but rather generous portion of dishes. Most dishes tended to be rather heavy in flavours despite those were Cantonese cuisines. Steam four finger thread fin fish with Xiaoxing wine & chicken fat was marvellous which tasted like expensive shad fish. Fried mud crab with rice rolls was also great. Baked pork chop rice was ok & definitely not to order unless one is really really hungry or you have a big crowd.

You would walk by Hop Sze and miss it 9/10 times. But on that 1 time you realise it is there and manage to get a table inside, you will absolutely be thankful for doing so. It served incredible local shrimp toast, beef brisket and other great dishes. Was a lovely local experience with delicious food and affordable prices.

A hidden gem in Sai Wan Ho. Lots of traditional dishes that are great. The shrimp toast is a must-order! It's fried perfectly to its golden color yet it's juicy and crispy. Mind that the portion of this shrimp toast is very generous and you should limit yourself to just having one (it's nearly impossible and I dare you to try) if you want to save space for other dishes.
