Authentic grilled meat experience in Kyoto.
Fantastic grilled meat experience in Kyoto. We ordered the set meal of three 90-gram meatballs accompanied by unlimited rice and miso soup. The total price was 3,640 yen. In addition, the staff is charming and very helpful, and they treat the food with utmost hygiene. We didn't reserve a table and had to wait in line for 20 minutes to get in. I highly recommend it.
Great food, shame about the service
Great good, lovely wine and service, but just a shame to be thrown upstairs to finish our drinks when we only had half a glass each left. Upstairs was Smokey and dingy so just took the shine off the meal. I guess just donβt order a bottle ..! Sat upstairs you start to realise how dirty the venue might be begins the scenesβ¦
Amazing
Stumbled across a line of 30 people this morning at 830am when out for a walk to get a coffee. Figured it was something I needed to get in on it. I lined up and realised when I got to the front of the queue I was booking in for dinner. The most unexpected, awesome japanese hamburger experience. We were all full after, and we fed a family of 4 for $100 AUD. The staff are welcoming. It's an engaging food experience and, most importantly, delicious. A most for anyone visiting Kyoto.

Hikiniku to come Kyoto (grilled hamburgers with a twist)
Hikiniku to come Kyoto is located in an old traditional house at the Gion district. It has a very modern and chic interior deco. I made an online reservation over a month in advance (paid a non refundable deposit/booking fee) However people can go at 9am on the day and put their names on the booking list. Then they will be given a reservation ticket and come back at the time marked on the ticket. It is an incredible restaurant specialized in ground beef patties charcoaled in front of you. The restaurant only serve a Hikiniku burger set which include 3 hamburgs, a miso soup and refillable Fukushima rice and a raw egg (optional). The hamburgs are cooked in front of you and are served one at a time. The chef suggested that we eat the first burger without any toppings or seasonings added. The chef then recommended that we can either add spices and toppings (charred green peppers in olive oil, garlic flakes, pepper paste, pepper salt, chilli and soy sauce) to the second and third burgers or pair them with ponzu sauce and shaved radish. The burgers are extremely juicy and tasty and full of charred flavor. Staff are friendly and courteous and most of them can speak English. It is a must visit restaurant if you are in Kyoto. Will definitely visit the restaurant again when I go to Kyoto next time.

You have to make a reservation at least a month and a half in advanced. The service the food is delishhhh the location is in the Gion district. You made our first night in Kyoto special we loved it!

Amazing place! I was so surprised to see it hadnβt been reviewed yet. Went last night for dinner- they specialize in ground beef pattys, more like large meatballs. You get 3 of them plus they have all these spices and toppings to add, also a raw egg if you like. Served with soup and rice, the soup was delicious, the beef was so tasty! They cook them right in front of you and serve to you 1 at a time. The restaurant was very modern looking on the inside, very cool. We went by earlier in the day and put our names on the list, they gave us a reservation ticket and we came back at the time and were seated almost right away. If we had discovered this place our first night we definitely would have visited more than once! Alas it was our last night, but I was so happy we chose it!

2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* ElaborateHouse74, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ElaborateHouse74 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ElaborateHouse74 for any questions Peter may have as ElaborateHouse74 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* ElaborateHouse74 now uses their connections at Hikiniku to Come Kyoto to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ElaborateHouse74 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ElaborateHouse74 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ElaborateHouse74's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Hikiniku to Come Kyoto!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
