Excellent restaurant we went here for my husband's birthday and our wedding anniversary. We got married here in Reno nine years ago. I am happy to say the service was A1 service food was excellent. We had scallops steak and it was delicious. The guy who served us? I didn't get his name, but he was funny, entertaining, and he made our night special. We will be back when we come visit Reno again!

What an incredible dining experience! Bimini Steakhouse at the Peppermill absolutely exceeded expectations from the moment we walked in. Despite our large group of 15+, we were seated promptly and had a dedicated team of servers who made sure every detail was taken care of. I began with the French onion soup, beautifully presented with a golden puff pastry topping -- rich, savory, and absolutely delicious. Between courses, we were treated to a refreshing sorbet palate cleanser, with the option of champagne drizzled over the top -- such a thoughtful touch. For my entrée, I ordered the filet, cooked perfectly medium rare, Oscar style. It was paired with fresh broccoli and indulgent lobster mac & cheese, complemented by a bold and smooth Cabernet. Every bite was perfection. From start to finish, the service, presentation, and flavors were outstanding. If you're ever staying at the Peppermill or visiting Reno, I can't recommend Bimini Steakhouse highly enough. Everything was flawless -- we'll definitely be back!

This place is one of a kind! I only gave it four out of five stars because of some of the food items that we had ordered. But the service was 10 out of 10. Gary and Jon took such great care of us. It was our anniversary, we received a card and the best treatment ever. My husband had an old-fashioned drink and they made it at the table smoked. We ended up splitting bone in ribeye, mac & cheese, and brussels sprouts. We also had a blue cheese salad. The blue cheese salad was exceptional with little bits of pancetta, Kamala, olives, avocado, radishes, and delicious blue cheese. That salad was also 10 out of 10. The mac & cheese was good, but needed some more flavor. Brussels sprouts needed some salt. They were crispy, but didn't have a lot of taste. The restaurant treated us with some chocolate mousse cake for our anniversary. That was 100% amazing. This restaurant is truly amazing and we will be coming back. The atmosphere is amazing, the service is amazing, and the steak was amazing. They have huge screens showing different places from all around the world. It was fun to watch while we were eating.. the ambience was incredible.

My favorite steakhouse in town! The bread basket is always amazing, and I love the little details like the palate cleanser between courses. The menu has a great selection of entrees, and the seasonal dishes keep things exciting and fresh. Desserts are consistently delicious, and the little chocolate you get at the end is the perfect sweet finish -- so simple but sooooo good. Always a wonderful dining experience here.

Came here with family and it was good.
We've been multiple times and it's always been good. Over the years the prices have gone up and the food is about the same. Our server and team were great. Very friendly and fun. The atmosphere is the same and quite calm. The vegan lasagna was ok. The sauce was great but the rest was just ok. I was hoping it would be better, but seemed dry. Definitely loaded with veggies. The duck two ways was wonderful, steaks were always good, and the sea bass was delicious.

This was one of the most memorable dining experiences I've ever had. The staff was very engaging and attentive and they really went the extra mile to help make the experience special. Shout out to to Cedric, Jeff, and Alex for their attention to detail. The food was great too, with some standouts being the cheesy bread and the beet salad alongside our prime rib.

We walked in tonight with high expectations and left with nothing but the best.. we had a OUTSTANDING server named Christian who gave us one of the best Caesar salads I have ever had in my life plus it was table side. Had a Bordeaux which pairs beautifully with our steaks. In between had a French onion soup with a very delicate puff pastry on top( nice touch) and of course their palette cleanser. Pineapple sorbet and champagne... everything was beautifully timed and when we got our entrees we weren't too stuffed. The entrees filet and fillet surf and turf were perfectly seasoned and cooked. With an amazing red wine sauce on top. Then we finished with the table side cafe Diablo which was cooked brandy and some other ingredients, somewhat like an after dinner tea(still delicious). And to top off the amazing experience ANOTHER table side banana foster done by the one and only Christian. So say the least this was the best date night dinner yet. Service ambience and food and cocktails. Most definitely a number one pick for the next.
An outstanding restaurant with great food and service.
We have eaten here before and have not ever been disappointed. We started with a great Scotch and a fine glass of wine. We both had the special, a six ounce fillet steak and it was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent! A great way to celebrate our 59th anniversary. Yes we will be back.

Wow. Rarely give out 5 stars but honestly can't find much to complain about. Extremely gorgeous, high ceilings, and fancy place. We had like 4 or 5 different servers for various things. Amazing service. We saw a table next to us complain about their steak and saw them try to accommodate her by fixing it twice. Didn't see them give any attitude and was even apologetic to her. That's A+ service there. We ordered a bottle of wine and it was good. The cocktails that we ordered was also good and strong. For the table, we got tomahawk steak, bone in ribeye, some kind of steak, the broccolini, asparagus, brussels sprouts. We felt the steak all came out exactly the way we ordered. The bananas foster was a delight to watch and to eat as they prepared it table side. Probably can't really go wrong with anything that you order there.
20th Wedding Anniversary dinner just OK
With great expectations we decided to celebrate our special day at Bimini. Nothing special except the hefty bill. Food - The hero of the night was the special…salmon, scallops and risotto. Seasoned perfectly and cooked to a perfect temp. The ribeye was good, not great, and the lobster mashed was very good. Service - Our waiter was full of cliched remarks, insincere banter and apathetic inattentive actual service. As an example we had to actually pour our own champagne after waiting awhile with empty glasses. Honestly he goes down as the worst waiter I can recall. And all the while they enjoy a beautiful place to work with fantastic check average. We will not be back.

This is a fantastic Steakhouse. The food is always exceptional. The service is fantastic. Ask for Gary he was fantastic. We try and eat here each time we visit Reno.
Best customer service
Wow. What an experience. Make sure you request for mike to make your drink. He’s one of a kind. Cailly is more than just a busgirl. She went above and beyond for our dinner. The tandem combination of Cailly and Mike as our servers was special. It’s hard to explain but they were perfect. If you plan on hosting an important date, meeting or a celebration be sure to request the both of them in advance.

3/20/2024- Another grateful birthday celebration! Dh just turned the big "70".. (although he acts like a fifty year old.. kidding).. Oldest son made the special effort to celebrate with us.. As my dearest "mother figure".. commented that today cannot be given back".. and tomorrow is not guaranteed, I cherish each and every day with loved ones.. Appetizers- coconut shrimp- tasty and crisp- dipping sauce oddly tasting.. Crab mushrooms- great.. Short ribs- 5/5 by the birthday boy- Chilean sea bass- 3/5 by me - too many big pieces of sliced ginger- Bimini salad- decent.. Vegetable cottage pie-0/0- vegan son- No flavor, none of the vegetables were seasoned, honestly the dish did not make any sense- confusing dish- Service was attentive and the son did comment and wanted to let the chef know an honest opinion.. We did get a birthday special chocolate mousse on the house.. Hopefully, improvements can be made on the menu..

Order a steak to bring up to my room, service was excellent and staff was friendly. As for the steak, order a 12oz Prime Filet Mignon medium rare and it was on point. Cocked perfectly and tasted great!!!

We had a great time and our dinner was amazing. Our server Patrick was amazing. We are from out of town and he was letting us know what places to go visit. We need more people like Patrick. The food was really great and they have a great wine selection. We will definitely be back!

We ate at Bimini Steakhouse for the first time a few weeks ago for my husband's 39th birthday. The food was absolutely amazing and the service we received from our server Patrick was out of this world. He was the sweetest server we have ever had and are looking forward to eating here again. Thanks again Patrick! Your friends from Texas :)

For the past 3 years it has been a Valentine's Day
For the past 3 years it has been a Valentine's Day tradition to go to the Bimini steakhouse. First year we had Bob who made it a clear choice that we needed to come back. The second year we had Morgan who reassured us that we made the right decision. Finally this year we had Melissa and Ryan who continued to hold the torch high. Absolutely amazing service and great staff. If you don't know what steak to get I highly recommend the flight of filets. They are all so delicious but have very unique textures as well. All the sides were amazing and I have wet dreams about the foie gras and filet starter. We will be back again!!
Impeccable service! Everything we ordered was delicious.
Restaurant has an open floorplan, which doesn't give a steakhouse vibe, but the food itself was worth it. We started with bone marrow that is served with a pickled onion. It was perfect. That was followed by a palette cleanser of sherbert. we opted to add presseco. I thought it was great and will steal this idea for a girls' night. By recommendation of our server, I enjoyed the pineapple margarita, which I liked. For dinner, we had the Australian waygu 8oz with a sauce on the side and 1/2 lb of King crab legs with melted butter for dipping. Augratin potatoes and the Brussels sprouts. I must say it was a very rich meal, but we thoroughly enjoyed every bite and left stuffed. Watress surprised us with a chocolate cake for our anniversary and, at the very end, brought out 2 salted caramel chocolates that were delicious. I wish I had a box to bring home.

Fabulous Dinner, but Expensive!!
This is a fabulous restaurant, but bring your credit line with you. Dinner for four of us was well over $600 and we brought our own wine. The service is stellar and the food is delicious. First class all the way, but be sure this is how you want to spend your money. Highly recommend the coconut honey shrimp appetizer. Enjoy!!
Disappointed in service and food quality.
Never again! Our steaks had to be eaten in sequence since one steak was horribly over-cooked. Then, we waited for 15 minutes for a replacement by which time the magic was gone. Of importance is that they are also under-staffed. It took too much time to flag down a waiter when we needed assistance such as returning an inedible side dish.

We always hit up the Bimini for a early appetizer run when we are hungry but not enough for a full dinner! Our favorites are Lobster Mashed Potatoes, my husband loves the oysters and I enjoy the coconut shrimp! Sometimes we go there and sometimes we take back to our room. Delicious!
Best Steak of Our Lives!
We both ordered the filet special of the day. Starter with the french bread was superb (we think the best of the 4 types of breads served). All of Peppermill's restaurants so excellent, we could not add an other starter due to insufficient room at the inn(!) Steak was tender and flavorful, not needing a steak knife. The foie gras on top was a superb addition. Mashed potatoes and broccolini were excellent. Unquestionably, the best steak of our lives (and we're >60yo)! Service outstanding and comfortable setting. Definitely will return

For what it is, an upscale steakhouse in a casino, the only thing that could be better is if the prices weren't so astronomical. But this is to be expected in Casino Resort dining these days. If you're a local, the 20% local's discount puts this place in the running for a special occasion dining experience. Still, a bit better value can be had in a few of the area's top steakhouses if you venture outside this casino but they won't beat this place on quality alone.The ambiance and decor is unique and impressive. Maybe a little over the top but hey, it's a high-end casino resort. Service was excellent. We had the Filet and the NY and both were properly cooked and not overseasoned. Still personally I think in general, considering what you pay, beef is kind of overrated. But I'm not going to eat Chilean Seabass in a steakhouse. The Truffle Mac n Cheese was excellent.

. and yes I like to all month long!Made reservations a few days before..Received a text that we could come in earlier than 6 pm our reservation time..Beautiful and elegant atmosphere..Staff was on point..We had Ced (Cedric) and his assistants..Starting from the four choices of bread (my favorite was the blue cheese focaccia) was nice.Went with the bone marrow appetizer.. presented beautifully for bones.. interesting- but more so I can take home for my dogs..Blood orange sorbet yummy!House salad, asparagus and a baked potato for sides.Loved my tomahawk steak!.. my new favorite!Hubby ordered the short ribs and said it was delish!Yes, I would come back!The ambiance, efficient staff and the quality of the meal was perfect!

From the reservation app telling us our table was ready..10 min early to the time the hostess said bye and everything in-between was the best experience ever.The hostess when we arrived was so friendly and welcoming and sat us promptly.Our waiter Alex was super friendly and helpful with our menu options.Before our entrees arrived we were served a pallet cleanser champagne sorbet delicious item (picture)Alex made my steak table side and it was cooked to perfection (picture)My husband's filet mignon was cooked to his satisfaction just the way he liked it at the end of our mail we were served an anniversary cake.I highly recommend this restaurant except make reservations they are so popular and if you have a chance get Alex as your waiter, he is wonderful!

Peppermill is my favorite hotel/casino in Reno and I had tried a bunch of their other restaurants, but this time I was there with friends to celebrate their anniversary so I made reservations here for a double date dinner. We were seated right away by their very friendly staff who explained the menu and recommended some drinks for us. All of our drinks were made table side which was fun to watch. I have been to some nice steakhouses in Vegas and this was right there with them. Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to our perfectly cooked steaks. If you are looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate a special occasion or even just to treat yourself, this is definitely the place to go! I will be back for sure.
The food at this restaurant is the best I've ever had.
I had the prime rib, and I could practically cut it with a spoon. The French Onion soup was excellent, though id like it with more Gruyère cheese. My husband had the scallops as an appetizer and we will be back just because they were so good. This place is expensive, no doubt. But everyone deserves a little pampering from time to time. The absolute best part of the evening was our waiter Sam. He was so attentive. I felt like I'd found a long lost brother. Sam alone will bring me back again. And of course the scallops!!

The 45 day dry aged New York and the wagyu New York were amazing along with all our sides. They have great cocktails and wine selections the ambiance is very colorful and calm i like the big TVs of all the travel destinations we will definitely return!
Great Birthday dinners last night.
We arrived for our reservation and birthday cards were at the table. Very nice touch as I had shared this was a special occasion.Alex, our server did a great job overviewing the menu, specials. Our sommelier, Peter was excellent as he decanted our 2006 Pinot Noir from Nickel & Nickel which I brought from my cellar. We started out the evening with nice sorbet to clean out pallets. Our main courses were as follows 16 oz. Wagyu New York with a dipping sauce which was amazing. Lamb Chops also very good. Sea Bass topped with crab also very delicious. Finally the special salmon with two large scallops, mashed potatoes and vegetables. The salmon was very soft and amazing. The wine paired beautifully with the meat. And to finish off the evening a complimentary chocolate moose cake with birthday candle. Nice Touch !!! Thanks you again Alex and Peter for making this a very special evening. I'll be Back !!!!

Once you have the best, others just can NOT compare...Butternut Squash Bisque - Good, small tender pieces of squash at the bottom of the soup.Roasted Beet Salad - Good, not sure about the presentation/plating. Onion Soup - Good.Palate cleansers - Sorbet and champagne; first time I have gotten palate cleansers with champagne. I think all palate cleansers should come this way. We got this twice as the bus boy gave us the first one too early, lol. NOT a complaint.22 oz Prime Dry Aged Bone In Ribeye, aged 42 days with a side of forest mushrooms - This is okay, tender. The chimichurri sauce was underwhelming. It was literally a creamy sauce. I would have preferred an oil base like most of the chimichurri sauces I have tried.Free Form Crustacean Lasagna - This exceeded everyone's expectations, the hit of the entrees! Then Camie took over and continued to wow us with the service, which included more samples of wines on and not on the menu. Throughout the night, the amazing service continued from the entire team. Waters were always full, etc.Price - $348 + generous tip. Also a 20% discount for locals, the main reason why our friends chose this restaurant, what a great deal. A Tale Of Two Cities
I've never been to Reno before and the city itself is definitely a little bit different than its bigger brother Vegas. I think Peppermint is the biggest casino in town (at least that's what it looked like driving through downtown on the highway), but even then, it felt very small compared to the casinos you'd see down south. The casino itself had a kind of Indian casino feeling to it, so it was a nice surprise to visit a nicer steakhouse next to the main floor. The food itself wasn't mind blowing, but I liked the atmosphere. The waitstaff was great and the whole thing was a nice oasis from the rest of the hotel.
Worth the splurge!
Amazing from start to finish! Knowing the challenges the hospitality industry is facing I made dinner reservations expecting a good meal but nothing more - boy was I wrong. Everything was great - we arrived for our 6:30pm reservation about 20 minutes early and were seated immediately. The wait staff promptly dropped water and fresh bread/butter off and let us take our time with the wine list. We opted to share the J. Lohr coravin flight. It was wonderful and the perfect amount and experience for our meal. I had the prime 8oz filet medium and it was perfect. My husband did the strip loin and he said it was the best steak he’d ever had. The sides of creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes were great - though very rich for me. You MUST try the mustard sauce - it was AMAZING. We split the cherry cheesecake which was good but at that point I was just too full. Patrick our waiter was pleasant, knowledgeable and engaged just the right amount. I enjoyed watching the other tables around us that ordered the various table side prepared items. All in all this was just the steakhouse experience I’d been jonesing for.

One of the best aged steaks I have had! Service was more than expected too. Prices are a little high but worth it based on the quality of the meals.
Great food, but terrible service
Our party of three all had great meals. The disaster struck when the waiter (Patrick) decided to hang out at our table and talk to us after serving the food. We all felt obligated to chat at first, but our food was getting cold so my wife and I decided to eat in front of him while he carried on his conversation. Our friend waited around 20 minutes and finally decided to eat her food while the waiter continued to chat with us. The other workers in our area saw what was going on and said they were sorry after he finally left and we asked to take the rest of our food with us because it was now cold.
Excellent Steakhouse
Super atmosphere and great, helpful wait staff. Had wonderful Elk Wellington special, after started of beets. Seabass was also excellent. We shared a bread pudding which while uniquely, flavorfully prepped was quite filling.

* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FamousStation67, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FamousStation67 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FamousStation67 for any questions Peter may have as FamousStation67 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FamousStation67 now uses their connections at Bimini Steakhouse Reno to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FamousStation67 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FamousStation67 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FamousStation67's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Bimini Steakhouse Reno!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
